Part 4 Style - reflection on feedback

 Working through the exercises and assignment of 'Style' I have took on board things from the previous parts feedback. I used a lot more physical references this time around, my research was quite thorough I just need to focus less on internet-based sources and suing more books and such.

This part I need to dedicate a bit more time to creating things like moodboards and in-depth planning, methods such as moodboards can help me establish colours, themes, and aspects of a subject. In addition to this I need to incorporate a lot more traditional media like drawing, sketching just general sketchbook use. Doing things digitally so often I sometimes struggle with the simple techniques, proportions and shading using pencil or pen on paper. And drawing digitally because there are so many shortcuts and things can be easily manipulated or erased it is a lot less effort then traditional which I don’t want to lose the skills and become lazy constantly relying on digital. Asking myself questions and evaluating things is something else I should be doing more of. It is good for understanding how I did something and maybe inspire new thought processes.

I have enjoyed this part a lot I have got to use a bit more of my own style and test out some fun techniques such as collaging and proportioning characters with a 360 degrees technique. I think I can use these in the future.
