Production Part 5 Final Reflection and Feedback

Give yourself a final self assessment check against your assessment criteria to see how well you think you’ve done. Use this process to help reflect on your work and your achievements on the course as a while. It will also help to identify to you and your tutor any areas you may need to work on prior to submitting for assessment.

 Looking at the tutor feedback I'm satisfied with the pointers, critques and how I prefromed during part 5. Considering I had a hard time getting this part finished on time and a having a lack of motivation I suprised myself how not so bad I did.

Theres still things that I do need to improve on though, such as the research which I really try and explore all avenues but sometimes I do fall short with the amount of information I could add to further the exercises. 

My designs and Ideas have been well recieved I think I have successfully achieved most of the objectives in this part visually and through my explanations. The documentation of my process and what I could have done differently  are quite present in my blog. Experimenting with different techniques and designs was something I did try to do a lot more but again this was pointed out that I could go into more depth in designs. I think because I already had an idea of what the finished assignment was going to be I did'nt experiment as much as I could have.

I am confident that I have developed a good style in the drawings and it's been fun to bring a idea to life with my final book. My drawing skills I got to perfect and be more technical with to which was a learning experience whilst also learning the pyshical elements of creating a lifting flap book such as the structure, sizing, paper, format, colours and just everything that goes into it.

Going forward I think some pointers for me would be do be a bit more thorough with planning such as the use of mind maps, flat plans, lists, brainstorms and show all design steps digital and paper if they are relevant.
